Alight, Inc. (NYSE: ALIT) has reported its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2025. The company's CEO, Rohit Verma, highlighted the company's revenue of $2.3 billion for 2025, as well as strong cash provided by operating activities and free cash flow.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, Alight reported a 4.0% decrease in revenue to $653 million compared to the same period in 2024. Gross profit was $240 million, and the gross profit margin was 36.8%, down from $271 million and 39.9% in the prior year period, respectively. The company also recognized a net loss of $933 million, primarily driven by a $803 million non-cash goodwill impairment charge.
For the full year 2025, Alight reported a 3.0% decrease in revenue to $2,262 million compared to 2024. Gross profit was $765 million, and the gross profit margin was 33.8%, down from $794 million and 34.0% in the prior year period, respectively. The company also reported a net loss of $3,078 million, primarily driven by a $3,124 million non-cash goodwill impairment charge.
The company's adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter of 2025 was $178 million, down from $217 million in the prior year period. For the full year, adjusted EBITDA was $561 million, compared to $556 million in 2024. Diluted earnings per share for the fourth quarter were $(1.78), down from $0.05 in the prior year period, and for the full year were $(5.83), down from $(0.25) in the prior year period.
Alight also provided balance sheet highlights, reporting a cash and cash equivalents balance of $273 million, total debt of $2,005 million, and total debt net of cash and cash equivalents of $1,732 million as of December 31, 2025.
Looking ahead, the company announced it will replace its cash dividend with more efficient capital allocation activities, including deleveraging the balance sheet and, subject to market and other conditions, for share repurchases.
