Caesars Entertainment Appoints Rodney Williams to Board

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. has announced the appointment of Rodney Williams to its board of directors, effective July 1, 2024. Williams brings a wealth of experience from the luxury brand-building, strategic and digital marketing, and corporate leadership sectors. Prior to joining Caesars Entertainment, Williams served as the president of the Diageo Beer Company and President of Diageo Canada, overseeing notable growth for brands such as Guinness and Johnnie Walker.

Williams also held positions at Moet Hennessy, where he served as the Maison President of Belvedere Vodka and previously as the Chief Marketing Officer for the entire U.S. brand portfolio. During his tenure, the Hennessy business experienced significant growth in both topline sales and operating profit.

Apart from his corporate roles, Williams is involved in various organizations and serves as a trustee of the James Beard Foundation, a director of the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, and was a 2024 juror for the Cannes Lions marketing awards. He has also been recognized as one of the "most influential black corporate leaders" by Savoy magazine in 2024.

With the addition of Williams, Caesars Entertainment's board of directors will grow to 11 members.
