American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) has announced a 17 percent increase in its quarterly dividend on the company’s common stock. The dividend has been raised to $0.70 per common share, up from $0.60 in the previous period. This increase is consistent with the planned raise discussed in the company’s fourth-quarter 2023 earnings release. The dividend is payable on May 10, 2024, to shareholders of record on April 5, 2024.
