SunPower Names Tony Garzolini as CRO

SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) has appointed Tony Garzolini as the Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in a newly created role as the company deepens its focus on profitability and dealer experience. Garzolini brings more than 20 years of experience in home energy, having previously served as the Senior Vice President of Residential Product Sales for Generac Power Systems. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions at SunPower for more than 13 years, including Vice President of Residential Sales.

In his new role, Garzolini will oversee sales, including the direct, dealer, and new homes channels, along with pricing and demand generation. SunPower's Principal Executive Officer, Tom Werner, emphasized the company's focus on achieving profitability and cash flow generation, stating that Garzolini's leadership will help put SunPower in a strong position to nurture the dealer network and expand its reach, further the company's market-leading position in new homes, and improve the customer experience.

Notably, during Garzolini's previous tenure at SunPower, he played a significant role in building SunPower’s dealer network and launching the direct sales channel.
