Honeywell Adds Thermo Fisher CFO to Board

Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) has announced the appointment of Stephen Williamson, the current Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., to its board of directors as an independent director and audit committee member, effective April 1, 2025. Williamson brings extensive financial expertise and significant international business experience to the board.

Williamson has been with Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2001, holding a variety of finance leadership roles before being named Senior Vice President and CFO in August 2015. Prior to his time at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Williamson held various finance positions at Honeywell, including Vice President and CFO, Asia Pacific, and other corporate development and operational finance roles.

With a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wales and membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, Williamson's appointment is expected to bring valuable industry knowledge and M&A experience to Honeywell as it pursues its transformational objectives and continues to drive growth and innovation globally.
