AppFolio Partners with Second Nature to Enhance Resident Experience

AppFolio (NASDAQ:APPF) and Second Nature, a proptech company, have joined forces in a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the resident experience. The partnership will allow AppFolio customers to integrate Second Nature's suite of services, including credit building, air filter delivery, pest control, rewards, and group rate internet, into the AppFolio stack™ partner ecosystem.

According to upcoming findings from the AppFolio 2025 renter preferences report, 71% of renters consider resident benefits important when evaluating a new rental. However, only 42% report that these benefits are currently available to them. This represents a significant opportunity for property managers to differentiate themselves in the market.

The partnership is aligned with AppFolio's commitment to delivering exceptional value to property managers and residents. It complements FolioSpace™, a next-generation resident experience that simplifies move-in and day-to-day living, and AppFolio's collaboration with Zillow to streamline leasing processes.

This strategic move underscores AppFolio's dedication to the resident journey and its efforts to build a platform that powers the real estate industry. Kyle Triplett, SVP of Product at AppFolio, emphasized the importance of meeting and exceeding resident expectations in today's competitive real estate environment.

Thad Tarkington, founder and CEO at Second Nature, expressed the mission to design, onboard, and power 'triple win experiences' where residents, investors, and property managers all benefit.

Today the company's shares have moved 0.4% to a price of $218.78. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
