First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. (NASDAQ: FIBK) has announced the appointment of David P. Della Camera as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 1, 2025. Della Camera succeeds Marcy D. Mutch, completing the company's previously announced CFO succession plan, which was revealed in February 2025.
Della Camera, who joined First Interstate in 2021, has held several senior finance leadership roles at the company, including Deputy CFO. In his most recent role, he was responsible for the company's financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. Having also served as the company's Director of Corporate Development and Financial Strategy, as well as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Della Camera brings a comprehensive and deep understanding of First Interstate's financial and reporting functions to his new position.
Upon his appointment, Della Camera expressed his honor in stepping into the role of CFO, acknowledging the guidance he received from Mutch and expressing his commitment to continuing the momentum she has worked diligently to create.
Meanwhile, Mutch will transition to the role of Executive Advisor to the company through the end of 2025 and will continue to serve as a consultant to the company through December 31, 2026.
