UEC Increases Stake in Anfield Energy Inc.

Uranium Energy Corp (UEC) has announced the acquisition of 170,000,000 common shares of Anfield Energy Inc. at a price of $0.115 (Canadian dollars) per share, totaling $19,550,000 (Canadian dollars). This acquisition increases UEC's beneficial ownership and control of Anfield shares to approximately 32.4% of the outstanding shares on a non-diluted basis and approximately 37.6% on a partially diluted basis.

Prior to this acquisition, UEC held approximately 17.6% of the outstanding Anfield shares on a non-diluted basis and approximately 24.0% on a partially diluted basis. Each Anfield warrant held by UEC is exercisable into an Anfield share at a price of $0.18 (Canadian dollars) per share until May 12, 2027.

The company has filed an early warning report under Anfield's profile at SEDAR+ in connection with the acquisition and has stated that the Anfield shares were acquired for investment purposes. UEC may, depending on its evaluation of various factors, increase or decrease its ownership, control, or direction over Anfield securities in the future.
