Malibu Boats appoints former GE exec to board

Malibu Boats, Inc. has appointed Melanie Cook, former Chief Operating Officer of GE Appliances, to its board of directors as an independent director, effective immediately. Cook brings over three decades of leadership experience across operations, manufacturing, and business strategy, having managed global operations of a multibillion-dollar business and its 13,000 employees until her retirement in 2021.

Her appointment comes prior to John Stokely's retirement in October 2025, who has served on the company’s board of directors since February 2014.
