Great Lakes, established in 1985 and headquartered in Edinboro, PA, U.S., operates manufacturing and assembly facilities in the U.S. and Europe. The company is known for designing and manufacturing innovative, highly customized data rack enclosures and other integrated infrastructure offerings for data centers.
Vertiv's CEO, Gio Albertazzi, highlighted that the acquisition of Great Lakes strengthens the company's position as a premier technology solutions provider in the critical white space market. He emphasized that the combined capabilities of Vertiv and Great Lakes enable them to deliver comprehensive, engineered infrastructure solutions that address the complex challenges of next-generation AI technology.
