GigaCloud Technology Inc. has appointed industry veteran Kerry Lebensburger to its board of directors, effective August 17, 2025. Lebensburger, the former president of Ashley Furniture, brings decades of executive leadership experience to the company. He succeeds retiring director Lorri Kelley, who notified the company of her intention to retire on August 12, 2025, after two years of service.
GigaCloud's board membership remains at five, and Kelley will continue to serve as an advisor to support Lebensburger's transition. According to Larry Wu, founder, CEO, and chairman of GigaCloud, Lebensburger's expertise and thought leadership will be invaluable as the company continues to expand its B2B marketplace.
Lebensburger's appointment comes at a dynamic phase of growth for GigaCloud, a pioneer of global end-to-end B2B technology solutions for large parcel merchandise. The company's B2B ecommerce platform, known as the "GigaCloud Marketplace," seamlessly connects manufacturers primarily in Asia with resellers in the U.S., Asia, and Europe to execute cross-border transactions with confidence, speed, and efficiency.
GigaCloud first launched its marketplace in January 2019, focusing on the global furniture market and has since expanded into additional categories such as home appliances and fitness equipment.
Lebensburger's appointment signifies GigaCloud's commitment to leveraging industry expertise to drive continued success and strengthen its leadership in global B2B technology solutions. Today the company's shares have moved 0.43% to a price of $32.41. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
