Six Flags Entertainment – Major Governance Changes

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: FUN) has announced significant corporate governance changes, with Executive Chairman Selim Bassoul and Lead Independent Director Daniel J. Hanrahan set to step down from the board of directors. Effective January 1, 2026, Marilyn Spiegel will assume the role of non-executive chair of the board. Marilyn Spiegel, who has served on the Six Flags board since 2023, brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the gaming and hospitality industry. Her previous roles include serving as president of iconic Las Vegas resorts and president of Wynn Las Vegas.
