Federated Hermes Reports Record AUM of $871.2 Billion

Federated Hermes, Inc. has reported record-breaking total assets under management (AUM) of $871.2 billion as of the third quarter of 2025. This represents a significant increase of $70.7 billion or 9% from the same period in 2024, and a 3% increase from the second quarter of 2025, where total managed assets were $845.7 billion.

The company's earnings per diluted share for the third quarter of 2025 were $1.34, up from $1.06 for the same quarter in 2024. Net income for the third quarter of 2025 was reported at $104.1 million, compared to $87.5 million for the third quarter of 2024.

Equity assets reached $94.7 billion at the end of the third quarter of 2025, marking an increase of $11.1 billion or 13% from the same period in 2024. Fixed-income assets also reached a record high of $101.8 billion, up $1.6 billion or 2% from the third quarter of 2024.

The company experienced a record-breaking $652.8 billion in money market assets at the end of the third quarter of 2025, representing an increase of $59.8 billion or 10% from the third quarter of 2024.

In terms of revenue, Federated Hermes saw an increase of $61.0 million or 15% in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. This was primarily attributed to higher average money market and equity assets.

Operating expenses increased by $43.3 million or 15% in the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to higher distribution expenses resulting from higher average managed money market fund assets, as well as fluctuations in foreign currency exchange rates.

Looking at the year-to-date figures, revenue increased by $110.4 million or 9% for the first nine months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Operating expenses decreased by $16.8 million or 2%, primarily due to lower intangible asset related expense and a decrease in other expense, partially offset by increases in compensation and related expenses, as well as distribution expenses.

Federated Hermes' board of directors declared a dividend of $0.34 per share, payable on November 14, 2025 to shareholders of record as of November 7, 2025.
