Everest Group Appoints Elias Habayeb as EVP and CFO

Everest Group, Ltd. has announced the appointment of Elias Habayeb as the new Executive Vice President and Group Chief Financial Officer, effective on or about May 1, 2026. Habayeb brings over 30 years of experience leading global finance organizations in the insurance and financial services industries, most recently serving as CFO of Corebridge Financial (NYSE: CRBG).

Elias Habayeb succeeds Mark Kociancic, who will retire from the company after five years of service following the Q1 reporting cycle but will remain with Everest as a special advisor through the transition period. Habayeb's appointment comes at a time when Everest is renewing its focus on core businesses, with Jim Williamson, Everest’s President and CEO, expressing confidence in Habayeb's ability to strengthen the company's foundation for sustained performance.
