Getty Realty Corp. Announces Management Transition

Getty Realty Corp. has announced a management transition, with Mark J. Olear, the Executive Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Operating Officer, set to retire from the company effective February 27, 2026. Following his retirement, Robert J. Ryan, the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, will succeed Mr. Olear as Chief Investment Officer. Notably, the position of Chief Operating Officer will not be filled.

Mr. Ryan, who has been with the company since March 2016, has been promoted to Chief Investment Officer after contributing significantly to Getty’s real estate investment activities over the years. Prior to joining Getty, Mr. Ryan held various roles at leading real estate companies, bringing a wealth of experience to his new position.

Reflecting on his retirement, Mr. Olear expressed pride in the team's accomplishments and gratitude for the support received throughout his tenure at Getty. Upon his retirement, it is anticipated that Mr. Olear will provide advisory and consulting services to the company.
