News Corp Increases Buy-Back Program to $5.9M

News Corporation has provided an update on its buy-back program, reporting that it has purchased approximately US$5,942,773 worth of Class A and Class B shares under the 2025 Repurchase Program as of the latest notification date on January 27, 2026. This represents a significant increase from the previous figure of US$2,079,992.17 paid for the securities, as reported on the previous day of January 23, 2026. The total number of securities bought back or in relation to which acceptances have been received also increased from 70,004 to 78,067 during this period.

The highest price paid for the securities was US$26.85 on January 22, 2026, and the lowest price paid was US$26.01 on January 21, 2026.

The company's 2025 Repurchase Program allows for the repurchase of up to an aggregate of US$1 billion of the Company’s Nasdaq-listed Class A common stock and Class B common stock. This represents a significant portion of the total number of securities on issue in the class of securities to be bought back, which stands at 369,815,462.
