Installed Building Products Acquires Three Companies, Adding $22 Million in Annual Revenue

Installed Building Products, Inc. (IBP) has recently announced its acquisition of Thermo-Tech Mechanical Insulation, Inc., Biomax Spray Foam Insulation, LLC, and CKV Finished Products LLC. These acquisitions are expected to add over $22 million of annual revenue to IBP.

Thermo-Tech, which was acquired on February 2, 2026, brings in approximately $13 million in annual revenue. Based in Watertown, Wisconsin, Thermo-Tech provides mechanical insulation services for diverse commercial and industrial applications across several key states.

Biomax, acquired on January 19, 2026, contributes approximately $5 million in annual revenue. The company, located in Tyler, Texas, specializes in spray foam and fiberglass insulation installations for new residential and commercial markets in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.

CKV, acquired on December 11, 2025, adds around $4 million in annual revenue. Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, CKV installs various complementary building products and primarily serves new residential markets in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

Jeff Edwards, Chairman and CEO of IBP, emphasized the significance of these acquisitions, stating that they expand IBP’s insulation installation services across compelling residential housing and commercial and industrial markets.

The acquisitions reflect IBP’s continued focus on growth through expansion across multiple geographies, products, and end markets.
