Bunge Global Reports Decrease in Earnings

Bunge Global SA (NYSE: BG) has reported its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results. In 2025, the company reported a full-year GAAP diluted EPS of $4.93, down from $7.99 in the prior year. Adjusted basis, excluding certain gains/charges and mark-to-market timing differences, the full-year EPS was $7.57, down from $9.19 in the prior year. In the fourth quarter, Bunge reported a GAAP diluted EPS of $0.49, down from $4.36 in the prior year. On an adjusted basis, the EPS was $1.99, down from $2.13 in the prior year.

The net income attributable to Bunge for the full year of 2025 was $816 million, down from $1,137 million in the prior year. The net income per share from continuing operations-diluted was $4.93, down from $7.99 in the prior year. Adjusted net income per share from continuing operations-diluted was $7.57, down from $9.19 in the prior year.

In terms of segment EBIT, all segments reported higher adjusted EBIT in the fourth quarter, with the total adjusted EBIT reaching $622 million, up from $445 million in the prior year. For the full year, the total adjusted EBIT was $2,034 million, up from $2,017 million in the prior year.

Looking at the reportable segments, in the Soybean processing and refining segment, the company reported higher volumes and net sales in 2025 compared to the prior year. The segment EBIT was $157 million in the fourth quarter, up from $409 million in the prior year. For the full year, the segment EBIT was $1,225 million, up from $872 million in the prior year.

In the Softseed processing and refining segment, Bunge reported higher volumes and net sales for 2025 compared to the prior year. The segment EBIT was $184 million in the fourth quarter, up from $140 million in the prior year. For the full year, the segment EBIT was $521 million, down from $663 million in the prior year.

In the Other oilseeds processing and refining segment, the company reported higher net sales for 2025 compared to the prior year. The segment EBIT was $46 million in the fourth quarter, up from $6 million in the prior year. For the full year, the segment EBIT was $118 million, down from $216 million in the prior year.

In the Grain merchandising and milling segment, Bunge reported higher volumes and net sales for 2025 compared to the prior year. The segment EBIT was $211 million in the fourth quarter, up from $177 million in the prior year. For the full year, the segment EBIT was $465 million, up from $408 million in the prior year.

The company's corporate and other EBIT was $(334) million in the fourth quarter, down from $35 million in the prior year. For the full year, the corporate and other EBIT was $(796) million, compared to $(367) million in the prior year.

In terms of cash flow, Bunge reported that cash provided by operations during the year was $844 million, down from $1,900 million in the prior year. Adjusted funds from operations (FFO) was $1,733 million, compared to $1,682 million in the prior year.

Looking ahead, Bunge expects full-year 2026 adjusted EPS in the range of $7.50 to $8.00. The company also provided guidance for an adjusted annual effective tax rate, net interest expense, capital expenditures, and depreciation and amortization for 2026.
