Manitowoc has expanded Jennifer L. Peterson’s role, naming her executive vice president, chief legal and people officer, and secretary.
Peterson, who had been executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary since 2022, will now oversee the company’s global human resources, legal, and risk management functions. The move adds people leadership to responsibilities she has held in legal and secretarial roles for the past three years.
She joined Manitowoc in 2018 and has spent nearly 25 years in legal work across in-house and private practice roles. Since her 2022 promotion, she has been part of the company’s executive management team.
The appointment follows a 2022 leadership transition and further concentrates oversight of legal, HR, and risk under one executive. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -0.99% to a price of $11.98. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
