SiteOne Landscape Supply EVP Scott Salmon to Retire

SiteOne Landscape Supply said Scott Salmon will retire March 31, 2026, ending a run that began in 2019 as executive vice president of strategy and development. The company named Daniel Laughlin, currently senior vice president of strategy and development, as his successor effective the same day.

During Salmon’s tenure, SiteOne said it added more than 70 companies through acquisitions, a pace that underscores how central dealmaking has been to the business. The company said Salmon also helped improve integration and onboarding of those acquisitions.

Laughlin is returning to a role he previously held at SiteOne from 2014 to 2021, when he worked in progressive leadership positions in strategy and development. He rejoined the company in January 2026 after stints at ServiceMaster Brands, Marcone Supply and Alloy Roofing.

The leadership change keeps the strategy and development function within the same team that has been driving SiteOne’s expansion, with Laughlin stepping onto the executive leadership team as part of the transition. Today the company's shares have moved -2.06% to a price of $133.49. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
