News Corp buys back $100M+ in shares

News Corporation continued its share repurchase program with another day of buying on April 1, 2026, adding 86,681 shares for US$2.15 million in consideration.

That latest purchase brought the running total of shares bought back to 4,130,637, with cumulative consideration paid reaching US$100.16 million. The company said it remains authorized to buy back up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock under the 2025 Repurchase Program.

The latest daily notification also showed the company’s remaining repurchase capacity at about US$841.4 million, based on total consideration paid to date of US$158.6 million under the program.

Across the program, News Corporation has repurchased shares at prices ranging from a high of US$27.21 to a low of US$22.20. The most recent day’s purchases were made through Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC.
