TransDigm completed its acquisition of Jet Parts Engineering and Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings for about $2.2 billion in cash, including certain tax benefits, after announcing the deal on Jan. 16, 2026.
The two businesses generated about $280 million in revenue in calendar 2025. That implies TransDigm paid roughly 7.9 times combined annual revenue.
Jet Parts Engineering, based in Seattle, employs about 300 people and operates engineering and repair sites in Texas, New York, Florida, Alabama and the United Kingdom. Nearly all of its revenue comes from the commercial aftermarket.
Victor Sierra Aviation Holdings employs about 400 people and runs facilities in Baldwin City, Kansas; Burlington, North Carolina; and Granite City, Illinois, with additional satellite locations in Illinois, Texas, Kentucky and Washington. Nearly all of its revenue also comes from the commercial aftermarket.
TransDigm said it funded the purchase with cash on hand and proceeds from debt offerings completed in February 2026. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -0.39% to a price of $1151.94. For the full picture, make sure to review TransDigm's 8-K report.
