Delek US Holdings named Amber Russell executive vice president of refining on April 20, 2026, replacing Joseph Israel in the role.
Russell arrives with nearly 30 years in the energy industry and most recently served as senior vice president for bp Solutions, where she led a centralized group focused on bp’s key risks and opportunities across oil and gas, refining, terminals and pipelines. Before that, she spent more than five years as senior vice president of refining, terminals and pipelines at bp, overseeing a global refining organization spanning the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Delek said the appointment is part of its effort to “strengthen, optimize, and elevate” its refining platform. Russell will be based in Brentwood, Tennessee and report directly to CEO Avigal Soreq.
Soreq thanked Joseph Israel for his contributions, including his work on operational excellence, and said Russell’s background in refining, terminals, pipelines and integrated operations makes her a strong fit for the company’s next phase. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 4.55% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $46.41. For the full picture, make sure to review Delek US's 8-K report.
