Regal Rexnord Appoints Aamir Paul as CEO

Regal Rexnord said its board has appointed Aamir Paul as chief executive officer, with the transition set to take place no later than July 1, 2026, after he completes his duties at Schneider Electric. Paul will also join Regal Rexnord’s board when he starts, with his initial term running until the company’s 2027 annual meeting of shareholders.

Current CEO Louis Pinkham will remain in the role until Paul’s start date, then step down from the board on his final day as CEO.

Paul, 48, comes to Regal Rexnord from Schneider Electric, where he has served as president of North America since 2022 and joined the executive committee the same year. The company said he grew the North America business at double-digit rates through 2025. In 2025, that business generated more than $17 billion in revenue, employed more than 43,000 people and operated more than 35 manufacturing facilities.

Before Schneider Electric, Paul spent more than 13 years at Dell Technologies, where he rose to senior vice president, global server solutions sales, overseeing worldwide go-to-market strategy for servers and global sales for data center solutions and high-performance computing.

Regal Rexnord’s chairman Rakesh Sachdev said the board’s search began on Oct. 29, 2025. He said Paul was chosen for his track record in growth, team building, innovation and experience in data center and discrete automation markets.

Paul said he is focused on the company’s “80/20 operating philosophy” and sees growth potential in its portfolio, scale and technologies.

The company said it will not provide additional commentary before its first-quarter earnings call on May 7, 2026. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -3.97%, and are now trading at a price of $187.39. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
