Woodward Elects Frederico Fleury Curado to Board

Woodward has elected Frederico Fleury Curado to its board of directors and audit committee, effective June 1, 2026, adding a veteran executive with more than 40 years of experience across aerospace, industrial and energy businesses.

Curado most recently served as chief executive of Ultrapar S.A. from 2017 to 2021. During that four-year stretch, he led a portfolio optimization effort that shifted the company toward its core energy and infrastructure operations, with focus on fuel distribution, LPG and logistics.

Before Ultrapar, Curado spent nine years as president and CEO of Embraer S.A., from 2007 to 2016. In that role, he oversaw development of the E-Jets E2, Legacy 450/500 and KC-390 Millennium programs as Embraer expanded from a regional jet maker into a broader global aerospace company.

Curado’s current board roles include ABB Ltd., where he chairs the compensation committee; LATAM Airlines Group S.A., where he chairs the audit committee; and Transocean Ltd., where he serves on the compensation committee and chairs the governance, safety and environment committee.

Woodward said Curado’s background spans governance, compensation, audit oversight, environmental and safety matters, bringing added oversight experience to the board as the company pursues its long-term growth strategy. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares -4.41% to a price of $355.66. Check out the company's full 8-K submission here.
