Diodes Inc Chairman Retires After 25 Years; Angie Chen Button Elected Chairwoman

Diodes Incorporated said Chairman Dr. Keh-Shew Lu has retired effective immediately after more than 25 years with the company, and the board elected Angie Chen Button as chairwoman.

Lu joined Diodes in June 2005, when annual revenue was about $215 million. Since then, the company said revenue has grown by more than 500%, taking Diodes into multibillion-dollar territory. Over that span, the company completed 10 strategic acquisitions and has now maintained 34 consecutive years of profitability.

Button joined the board in April 2021 as an independent director and has served as lead director since May 2023. She previously chaired both the governance and stockholder relations committee and the compensation committee.

Before joining the board, Button spent more than 30 years at Texas Instruments in roles including audit, finance, procurement, business development and international marketing. Outside the semiconductor industry, she has served in the Texas House of Representatives since 2009 and currently chairs the trade, workforce and economic development committee. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 0.52% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $111.99.
