Astronics Corporation said it will distribute Class B stock equal to 20% of holdings, giving shareholders one Class B share for every five shares of common stock or Class B stock they own on the June 15, 2026 record date. The new shares are expected to be issued on or about June 29, 2026, with cash paid for fractional shares.
The company said this will be its 15th Class B distribution since the program began in 1987. After the distribution, Astronics expects about 32.1 million common shares and 10.9 million Class B shares outstanding.
Class B stock carries 10 votes per share, compared with one vote per share for common stock, while the economic value of each Class B share is equivalent to one common share. Class B shares are not tradable, but can be converted at any time into common stock on a one-for-one basis. Today the company's shares have moved -2.51% to a price of $84.815.
