Regal Rexnord said Mark Klossner has been named executive vice president and president of its Industrial Powertrain Solutions segment, effective immediately, replacing Jerry Morton.
Morton, who has led IPS since 2023, will stay on as executive vice president through Dec. 31, 2026, after 11 years with Regal Rexnord and a 39-year career in power transmission.
Klossner was promoted from group president of the couplings and gearing divisions in June 2024. That portfolio spans about $1.4 billion across five business units. He joined Regal Rexnord in March 2023 through the Altra Industrial Motion acquisition, first as senior vice president and general manager of the couplings division.
Before joining Regal Rexnord, Klossner spent 19 years at Altra Motion, including six years as president of the gearing division and seven years as president of the couplings division.
Regal Rexnord said its IPS segment includes the company’s couplings and gearing businesses, and the leadership change comes after Klossner’s role expanded from one division to the broader $1.4 billion portfolio in 2024. The company has not disclosed any change to the segment’s revenue, but the transition places a leader with direct oversight of that business into the top role.
CEO Louis Pinkham said Klossner has shown “exceptional leadership” and has driven growth across the couplings and gearing businesses. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -2.74%, and are now trading at a price of $196.23. For the full picture, make sure to review REGAL REXNORD CORP's 8-K report.
