Gladstone Capital Corp Appoints George Stelljes III to Board

Gladstone Capital Corporation has expanded its board from seven to eight directors with the election of George “Chip” Stelljes, III, effective June 1, 2026.

Stelljes will serve in the 2028 class of directors and has also been named to three board committees: compensation, ethics, nominating & corporate governance, and valuation.

The company highlighted Stelljes’ more than 25 years of experience in investment analysis, management, and advisory roles. He is currently managing partner of St. John’s Capital, LLC. From 2001 to 2013, he held senior positions across the Gladstone companies, including chief investment officer, president, and director of Gladstone Capital Corporation, Gladstone Investment Corporation, Gladstone Commercial Corporation, and Gladstone Management Corporation.

Before joining Gladstone, Stelljes spent 23 years in private equity and venture capital roles at Patriot Capital, Camden Partners, Columbia Capital, and Allied Capital. He now serves as chairman of Equalize Community Development Fund and as an independent director of Oxford Square Capital Corporation.
