AbCellera appointed Victor Sandor, M.D.C.M., to its board of directors as an independent director, adding a veteran oncology executive with a track record tied to multiple drug approvals.

He also served as vice president and chief medical officer for oncology at Biogen and held oncology development roles at AstraZeneca, contributing to the registration of Arimidex and the development of Faslodex.
He currently sits on the boards of ADC Therapeutics, Kymera Therapeutics and Prelude Therapeutics, and previously served on the board of Merus before Genmab acquired it in 2025.
AbCellera said Sandor’s appointment comes as the company advances its pipeline and works to turn its antibody-discovery platform into clinical outcomes.
