FedEx elected Mark A. Edmunds to its board of directors on June 8, adding a veteran Deloitte executive with 38 years at the firm to the company’s governance ranks.
Edmunds retired as vice chairman and senior partner at Deloitte, where he also served as U.S. leader of Energy/Utilities, West Region managing partner, and a member of the U.S. Board of Directors. His board experience includes current service at Westrock Coffee and a prior director role at Chesapeake Energy from 2018 to 2021.
At FedEx, Edmunds will chair the Audit and Finance Committee and join the Cyber and Technology Oversight Committee. The appointment gives FedEx a director with direct experience in finance, strategy, energy, utilities and renewables, along with service on public company boards.
