Amcor appoints new leaders for flexible packaging growth

Amcor named two senior leaders to key roles as it looks to accelerate growth in its flexible packaging business.

Ryan Yost was appointed Division President, Global Flexible Packaging Solutions, taking over from Fred Stephan, who is retiring. Yost spent 25 years at Avery Dennison and most recently led its $6 billion Materials Group. Amcor said he will focus on organic growth across the flexible packaging platform, which serves healthcare, protein, pet food, liquids, beauty and personal care, and food service.

Kate Pearlman was appointed Senior Vice President, Investor Relations & Treasury, succeeding Tracey Whitehead. Pearlman joins from Lowe’s, where she was Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer, and will now oversee both investor relations and treasury operations. She will report to CFO Stephen Scherger.

Both outgoing executives will stay on as advisers through Dec. 31, 2026 to help manage the transition. Amcor said the moves are aimed at strengthening execution and alignment across growth, capital markets and shareholder engagement. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 2.88%, and are now trading at a price of $41.77. For the full picture, make sure to review Amcor's 8-K report.
