PennyMac Mortgage Investment Trust added Scott Sauer to its Board of Trustees on June 16, 2026, expanding the board with a financial executive who brings more than 30 years of experience.
Sauer spent nearly 20 years as an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he worked on financial transformations, public offerings and mergers across banking, fintech and asset management. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the West Point Association of Graduates, where he chairs the Audit and Compensation Committees and is vice-chair of the Finance Committee.
The appointment adds a trustee with credentials that include CPA licensure, a Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors, a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Seattle University. PMT said the addition is intended to strengthen corporate governance and financial strategy at the trust.
