Mondelez International said Amit Banati will become executive vice president and chief financial officer on July 1, replacing the finance role as Luca Zaramella shifts to chief operating officer.
Banati most recently served as chief financial officer of Kenvue. Before that, he was vice chair and chief financial officer of Kellanova, where he had also run the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region before moving into the finance job. His earlier career included roles at Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods.
The leadership change comes as Mondelez reported 2025 net revenues of about $38.5 billion, with its snack portfolio spanning more than 150 countries. The company highlighted brands including Oreo, Ritz, LU, Clif Bar, Tate’s Bake Shop, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone.
Zaramella, who had served as chief financial officer for eight years, will now focus on the company’s commercial operations, including its four geographic regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain functions. The company said Banati will report directly to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Dirk Van de Put and join the leadership team. Today the company's shares have moved -1.22% to a price of $60.12.
