Mondelez International named Amit Banati its next executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 1, 2026, replacing the role previously held by Luca Zaramella.
Banati is coming from Kenvue, where he served as chief financial officer. Before that, he was vice chair and chief financial officer at Kellanova, formerly Kellogg Company. His background also includes leadership roles at Kellogg, Proctor & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods.
Zaramella will remain with the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer, shifting his focus to commercial operations, including the company’s four geographic regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain functions.
Chief Executive Dirk Van de Put said Banati brings “a strong blend of financial leadership and commercial acumen” across large consumer businesses. He also thanked Zaramella for “eight years as CFO,” saying the company will continue to benefit from his leadership in the operating role.
Mondelez said it generated about $38.5 billion in net revenues in 2025 and sells products in more than 150 countries. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -1.22% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $60.12. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
