Mondelez Appoints Amit Banati as CFO

Mondelez International has named Amit Banati executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 1, 2026.

Banati joins from Kenvue, where he was chief financial officer. Before that, he served as vice chair and chief financial officer of Kellanova, formerly Kellogg Company. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance, strategy and regional leadership roles at Kellogg, Procter & Gamble, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods.

He will report to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Dirk Van de Put and join the company’s leadership team. Luca Zaramella, who has served as CFO for eight years, will remain executive vice president and chief operating officer, with responsibility for commercial operations, the four geographic regions, corporate sales, marketing and supply chain.

Van de Put said Zaramella’s eight-year tenure as CFO helped shape Mondelez’s financial strategy. Banati said he is returning to a company whose “iconic portfolio” and “advantaged global footprint” he knows well.

Mondelez said it generated about $38.5 billion in net revenues in 2025 and operates in more than 150 countries. Its brand lineup includes Oreo, Ritz, LU, Clif Bar, Tate’s Bake Shop, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -1.22%, and are now trading at a price of $60.12. For the full picture, make sure to review Mondelez International's 8-K report.
