Ramaco Resources Mourns Loss of General Counsel

Ramaco Resources said its general counsel and former board member, E. Forrest Jones Jr., has died unexpectedly.

Jones had served the coal industry for nearly 50 years and held multiple roles at Ramaco over time: first as independent counsel, then as a member of the board of directors, and later as general counsel.

Chairman and CEO Randall W. Atkins said Jones was “more than our general counsel,” describing him as a trusted friend and a cornerstone of the organization. Ramaco said it will honor his legacy in the days ahead.
