Archrock Appoints Mohit Singh as CFO

Archrock has named Mohit Singh as senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 6, 2026, replacing Douglas S. Aron, who had said he would retire.

Singh arrives with more than 25 years in energy, banking and corporate finance. He most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Chesapeake Energy from 2021 through Chesapeake’s 2024 merger with Southwestern Energy to form Expand Energy, where he stayed on as CFO until August 2025. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at BPX Energy, BP’s U.S. onshore unit, where he oversaw mergers and acquisitions, business development, exploration and operations. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital Markets and began at Shell Exploration & Production.

He has also served since 2024 as an independent director of Powell Industries.

Archrock President and CEO Brad Childers said Singh’s public company background and energy experience would support the company’s next phase of growth. Singh said Archrock’s “strong momentum” and “compelling opportunities” tied to long-term natural gas demand drew him to the role. Today the company's shares have moved 0.72% to a price of $41.70.
