Prologis has added Alfred F. Kelly, Jr. to its board of directors, bringing in a veteran executive with more than a decade of leadership experience at Visa and prior senior roles at American Express.
Kelly was chief executive officer of Visa from 2016 to 2023, served as chairman of the board beginning in 2019, and then held the role of executive chairman from 2023 through 2024. Before Visa, he was president of American Express and also led the New York–New Jersey Super Bowl Host Committee as president and chief executive officer.
Since 2024, Kelly has been an advisory director at Berkshire Partners. He also sits on General Motors’ board, where he serves on the Audit Committee and the Risk and Cybersecurity Committee.
Prologis said the appointment adds experience in technology, risk and global markets to its board. Kelly holds both a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from Iona University.
