Rivian Exceeds Q2 Delivery Expectations

Rivian produced 12,613 vehicles in the second quarter of 2026 and delivered 12,194, both for the period ended June 30.

Deliveries rose above the company’s prior quarterly outlook of 9,000 to 11,000 vehicles. Rivian said the stronger result reflected quarter-over-quarter growth in EDV and R1 deliveries, along with the start of R2 deliveries.

The company raised its full-year 2026 delivery guidance to 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles, up from its previous range of 62,000 to 67,000. That is an increase of 3,000 vehicles at the low end and 3,000 at the high end.

Rivian also said it will report second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 30 after market close, followed by an audio webcast at 5:00 p.m. ET. The market has reacted to these announcements by moving the company's shares 14.0% to a price of $19.585. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
