Hilton Grand Vacations named Christine Duffy to its board of directors, adding a travel and hospitality executive with more than 30 years of industry experience.
Duffy is president of Carnival Cruise Line, where she oversees a global business serving millions of guests annually. She has led the role since 2015. Before that, she was president and CEO of Cruise Lines International Association. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Maritz Inc. and McGettigan Partners.
The appointment expands a board that Hilton Grand Vacations said will benefit from her experience in operations, commercial strategy and customer engagement. The company said Duffy also serves on the board of Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation.
Hilton Grand Vacations described itself as serving more than 720,000 club members through its vacation ownership resorts and related programs. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 2.78% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $52.91.
