Resmed to Sell MatrixCare Business to Frazier Healthcare Partners

Resmed said July 7 it has agreed to sell its MatrixCare business to Frazier Healthcare Partners, a move that narrows the company’s software portfolio and shifts more attention to sleep health and connected home care.

MatrixCare serves more than 15,000 providers across skilled nursing, senior living, long-term care, life planning communities, home health and hospice. The business package being sold includes MatrixCare and related offerings historically sold under that brand, including Healthcare First, Citus, and home health and hospice solutions. The deal does not include Resmed’s Brightree business in the U.S. or Medifox Dan in Germany.

Resmed said the sale is part of its 2030 strategy and is intended to reallocate capital and resources toward higher-growth areas. The company did not disclose the transaction value in the release.

The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of Resmed’s fiscal 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. Until then, MatrixCare will remain part of Resmed and operations will continue without changes to customer service or support.

Resmed said it will provide more detail on the financial impact in its fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 filings. Today the company's shares have moved -4.96% to a price of $208.85. For the full picture, make sure to review RESMED INC's 8-K report.
