Orchid Island Capital Announces $0.10 Dividend

Orchid Island Capital said it declared a July 2026 cash dividend of $0.10 per share, unchanged from the prior monthly payout level implied by the release, and set the payment date for August 28, 2026. The record date is July 31, 2026, with the stock going ex-dividend the same day.

The company also laid out its next two reporting milestones. It plans to release estimated second-quarter 2026 results and RMBS portfolio characteristics on July 13, 2026, then report full second-quarter and six-month results on July 23, 2026.

The July 13 update will include estimated book value per share, estimated GAAP net income per share, including realized and unrealized gains and losses on RMBS and derivatives, and estimated total return on equity. Those figures will be preliminary.

Orchid Island said its July 23 report will cover the three and six months ended June 30, 2026. An earnings call is scheduled for July 24 at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The company’s latest dividend announcement follows its stated policy of monthly cash distributions. The release did not provide any quarter-over-quarter or year-over-year operating figures, but it did confirm the timing for the next dividend and both second-quarter earnings announcements. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 0.52%, and are now trading at a price of $6.775. If you want to know more, read the company's complete 8-K report here.
