Enova International said Maria Veltre will join its board of directors effective immediately, while William M. Goodyear and Mark McGowan are retiring from the board as part of a planned transition.
Veltre is currently an operating partner at Lightyear Capital and previously served as US head of digital and innovation at Santander US. She also held chief marketing officer roles at Fifth Third Bank and Citi’s small business unit, and earlier worked in senior marketing and digital positions at J.P. Morgan Chase.
The company said the board changes come as it continues its growth plans and works to complete its announced acquisition of Grasshopper Bank.
Goodyear and McGowan’s resignations were not tied to any disagreement with the company. Enova said the board transition is immediate for Veltre, while the two departing directors have stepped down now as part of the planned change.
Enova said it has provided approximately $70 billion in loans and financing to nearly 15 million customers over more than 20 years. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved 0.71% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $238.09. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
