Enova International added Maria Veltre to its board of directors effective immediately and said two long-serving directors, William M. Goodyear and Mark McGowan, are retiring and have resigned as part of a planned transition.
Veltre comes to the board with senior roles at Santander US, Fifth Third Bank, Citi’s small business unit and J.P. Morgan Chase. Enova said she is currently an operating partner at Lightyear Capital and previously served as a board director for Allworth Financial. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Wharton School and an MBA from NYU Stern.
The board change comes as Enova continues to pursue its announced acquisition of Grasshopper Bank. The company said it has provided about $70 billion in loans and financing to nearly 15 million customers over more than 20 years. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved 0.71%, and are now trading at a price of $238.09. For more information, read the company's full 8-K submission here.
