Energy Recovery Adds Industry Veteran to Board

Energy Recovery added John Mitchell to its board of directors on July 13, expanding the group with an executive who has more than 30 years of experience in finance, operations, and technology-driven industrial businesses.

Mitchell most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of the Sensor Solutions business at TE Connectivity, where he led a global unit serving automotive, industrial automation, aerospace, and medical device markets. Before that, he was president of TE SubCom, the undersea communications and marine services business. He also held senior finance roles at TE Connectivity, including vice president of finance for the Transportation Solutions division.

His earlier career included financial leadership roles at JohnsonDiversey, Tyco Electronics Power Systems, and Tyco Electronics across Europe and the United States.

Energy Recovery said Mitchell holds an MBA in finance and general management from University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Business Studies in finance from the University of Limerick.

The appointment brings a director with deep industrial and financial operating experience to a company that says it has spent more than 30 years in desalination and now sells pressure exchanger technology across multiple industries.
