Willis Lease Finance said it signed a definitive agreement to acquire a portfolio of 12 commercial aircraft and 13 aircraft engines, expanding its lease portfolio by 25 assets.
The company said the deal adds 12 aircraft and 13 engines to its portfolio and is intended to strengthen its aircraft leasing business and its engine-based programs, including ConstantThrust.
The acquisition also broadens Willis Lease’s customer base, according to the company, and adds to its asset management, technical, and aftermarket operations. The transaction is still subject to customary closing conditions. As a result of these announcements, the company's shares have moved -3.26% on the market, and are now trading at a price of $209.91.
