News Corp Spends $1.85M on Buy-Back, Highest Price Paid to Date

News Corp has bought back another 66,163 shares in the latest session, spending US$1.85 million on the purchase, according to its daily buy-back notice dated July 16, 2026.

That brings the company’s total repurchases under its 2025 program to 9,378,237 shares, with cumulative consideration paid of US$236.6 million. Based on the company’s disclosure, it has now spent about US$367.0 million in total under the broader program covering Class A and Class B stock.

The latest buy-back was executed at US$28.38 per share, the highest price paid in the program to date, while the lowest price paid remains US$22.20. The company said it may repurchase up to US$1 billion of its Nasdaq-listed Class A and Class B common stock.
