SS Innovations Showcases SSI Mantra Robotic System at Surgical Conference

SS Innovations said its SSI Mantra surgical robotic system will be featured at the Society of Robotic Surgery annual meeting in Hollywood, Florida, from July 23 to July 26, with the system on display, highlighted in breakout sessions, and used in a live kidney telesurgery broadcast from India.

The company said the live case will be a partial nephrectomy performed remotely by Dr. Amitabh Singh from SS Innovations’ headquarters in Gurugram, India, on a patient at Rajeev Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in New Delhi.

Chairman and CEO Dr. Sudhir Srivastava is scheduled to take part in multiple sessions at the meeting, including as speaker on cardiac telesurgery with the SSI Mantra, SSI Mantra focus sessions, and scaling robotic surgery for global access, and as a panelist on soft tissue robotics update from Asia, regulatory frameworks enabling telesurgery, industry perspectives, and global and military sessions.

The company also provided updated usage figures for the SSI Mantra as of July 6, 2026: cumulative multi-specialty procedures reached 12,375, including 653 cardiac procedures, 178 telesurgeries, and 225 pediatric surgeries. SS Innovations said about 2,100 physicians have been trained on the system, which has been used for more than 170 different types of procedures.
