Lightwave Logic Appoints Fred Graffam as CFO

Lightwave Logic appointed Fred Graffam as chief financial officer, effective immediately, replacing a finance leadership role that had been filled by Snizhana “Ana” Quan since January 2026. Quan will stay on as vice president of finance and corporate controller.

Graffam brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience and has already served as CFO at several public companies. Most recently, he was CFO of Fidium, formerly Consolidated Communications, where he helped lead the company’s sale in December 2024. Before that, he was CFO of Ascent Capital Group and Monitronics International, and earlier held senior finance roles at DigitalGlobe, Level 3 Communications and Comcast.

The company said Graffam will oversee financial operations, reporting, capital allocation and investor relations. CEO Yves Lemaitre said Graffam’s background in public company finance and Wall Street communication would strengthen the company’s execution and shareholder-value efforts.

Graffam said Lightwave Logic is at “a significant inflection point” and argued the company could play a role in the AI investment cycle through next-generation optical systems and data transmission. Following these announcements, the company's shares moved -2.97%, and are now trading at a price of $6.045. For the full picture, make sure to review Lightwave Logic's 8-K report.
